Day 1
Lots of stuff happening this week!
Those who did the New York Times writing prompts extra credit articles; there is a POST in Google Classroom where you will turn in a Google Doc assignment.
(or more than one Doc if you did each article separately, like you should have). Attach and turn in your articles RIGHT NOW!
Notes:
Check Google Classroom for the chapter 21 notes (or get a physical textbook from the cabinet). This chapter is about advertising for a school newspaper program. We don’t currently have advertisers; but we could!
Remember, you don’t need to write down the models. Due FRIDAY at the start of class.
Important Information!!!!
SENIORS: you have to complete THREE articles by Saturday, May 25. You must have at least one campus life and one editorial – this editorial MUST be about school-related issues. No exceptions.
All other grades: you have to complete FOUR articles by Sunday, June 2. You must have at least one campus life and one editorial – this editorial MUST be about school-related issues.
EVERYONE MUST tell me which dates you are choosing to have your articles turned in using the Form posted in Google Classroom. Do that in the next 4 min!!!!
Once you do this, start brainstorming about what you'll write your editorial about. Remember, it has to be a school-related topic!
