Day 4 (of 4)
You turned in your notes from yesterday, then we had a quiz over the preface/foreword in Night.
We went over TAG. For all major works we read in this class, you will need to know:
So for this book, the TAG is:
•T: Night
•A: Elie Wiesel
•G: semi-autobiographical novel
All three of those things you need to have memorized and be able to spell correctly!
Then we began reading Night chapter 1 (pages 3-22). We didn't finish; anything we don't finish in class is homework.
You have four homework questions on this chapter as well. Please use full sentences to answer. Due when we get back from break.
Chapter 1 Questions
Yesterday I passed out a guided Cornell notes worksheet on propaganda. You'll complete the notes using the information in the Google Classroom over break; it's due MONDAY when we get back. Remember for Cornell notes you finish the notes portion on the right, then on the left side column, create questions that your notes on the RIGHT side can answer.
