For warmup today you have a new Vocabulary.com list to practice.
Last Friday we had an exam; if you were absent, expect to take the exam this Wednesday after school. We have KDS testing later this week as well. PLEASE try your best to be here the rest of this week!
Today we finished taking notes on Slides on heroes. If you take good Cornell notes (EQ and questions, no summary) I will give you some extra credit.

- What does the list of “alternative” heroes have in common?
- Why are flawed main characters sometimes more likable than ones who are more perfect?
- Over the years the number of anti-heroes in popular culture has risen. Why do you think this is?
- Have the characteristics of what it means to be a “hero” changed over time? HOW?
